Gold & Silver Are Real Money: Rich Dad's Kiyosaki – Kitco News
Rich Dad's Robert Kiyosaki is on Kitco News to talk about why he prefers gold & silver over the stock market and what it takes to be a successful investor on this edition of "On the Spot." Kiyosaki says that he ignores investing in the stock market because he prefers to own percentages of companies. "I don't buy stocks, I sell stocks. I sell shares of my company," he says. "I don't buy shares of the company; I buy percentages of the company." With regards to the precious metals, Kiyosaki says he likes gold and silver because he doesn't trust the government, among other reasons. "As long as they're printing money, I'd rather have gold and silver. I don't think the dollar or the Looney or the euro will be around much longer anyway -- maybe 5 years, maybe 10 years -- but we cannot keep doing what we're doing printing money," he says. "I buy gold and silver because it is real money. So when the price of it goes down, naturally I'm going to buy more of it."
