2020 Australian Lunar Coin Series III Year of the Mouse 1kg Silver Coin with Gold Privy Mark
Australian Lunar Series III from the Perth Mint starts in 2020 with the first animal in the Chinese zodiac calendar – the ‘Year of the Mouse’. The motive of the 1 kilo silver coin depicts two mice in color, feeding on fresh corncobs. As a highlight, the coin has a 1 gram pure Gold Privy Mark, showing the Chinese character for ‘mouse’. Also included in the design are the inscription ‘MOUSE 2020’ and the mintmark ‘P’ of the Perth Mint.
Presented in a classic black display case with a clear lid, the case is packaged in a beautifully illustrated shipper and accompanied by a numbered Certificate of Authenticity (301 of 388)
When arranged together, this and the shippers of future coins in the Australian Lunar Series III form a diorama depicting the ancient myth of The Great Race involving all 12 animals in the zodiac
An attractive acquisition for both first-time precious metal buyers and long-term investors.
