AUTHORISED NZ DISTRIBUTOR
Founded in 1896 as a branch to the British Royal Mint, Perth Mint today is one of the largest minting plants globally, owned by the Western Australian government. Manufacturer of the iconic ‘Kangaroo’ gold and silver investment coins, Perth Mint also produce a popular lunar series and a range of sought-after collector coins.
This 1oz gold bullion minted bar is the perfect investment piece for those celebrating Lunar New Year and the Year of the Horse.
Seventh in line after the snake, the horse is said to bestow independence, charisma, and a sense of adventure on those born under its influence in 2026, 2014, 2002, 1990 and every 12th preceding year. Being passionate and spirited, they are gifted with natural charm and an ability to inspire others.
DESIGN
This carefully crafted pure gold bar features a minted impression of a lunar horse on a patterned background. The creature appears in a striking galloping stance. Included in the design is the inscription ‘HORSE’ and the Chinese character for horse.
The back of the bar is stamped with The Perth Mint's London Bullion Market Association registered mark, a stylised swan symbolising our 125 year-old reputation for quality. The logo and the bar’s weight and fineness appear on the same background pattern.
AUTHENTICATION FEATURE
The minted bar incorporates authentication features. In the form of multiple micro-laser engraved letters, they are only detectable under a magnifying glass.
PRESENTATION
This minted bar is housed in tamper-evident packaging which will display the word VOID around the edge of the blister if the card has been prized open. The card is red with a cherry blossom motif, and includes light induced holographic watermark-like image of the Mint’s stylised swan logo.
