Founded by the Canadian government, the Royal Canadian Mint are a leading supplier of currency and bullion coins globally. Set up as a branch of The Royal Mint to refine gold from the Yukon in the late 1800’s, the RCM today manufacture the ‘Maple’ investment coin in both gold and silver.
“Connections” is the theme of this year’s exquisite Puzzle Coin Set! Each puzzle piece-shaped coin features colored imagery of various modes of transportation throughout Canada’s history. The center coin displays a map of Canada overlayed with a gold-plated compass signifying how far we’ve come, both physically and metaphorically, in our communal attempts to connect over time.
