The South African mint launched the Krugerrand in 1967 to market South African gold, accounting for almost 80% of global gold sales by 1980. In 2017 a 999.9% silver version was introduced to mark the Krugerrand’s 50th anniversary.

The South African Mint and Rand Refinery are once again teaming up to release a 99.9% fine Silver Bullion Krugerrand. This is the second mintage of this history-making coin that depicts the iconic prancing springbok and bust of Paul Kruger. The coin is produced with a single strike to create a lustrous finish which accentuates the detail on the coin.

PRESENTATION:

Individually seals each MintDirect® coin to ensure the authenticity and condition after the coins are removed directly from the mint boxes. Each coin is placed in a protective non-reactive plastic polymer authentication card to protect your coin’s finish. This process seals the coin within the card creating a tamper-evident package that guarantees your investment indefinitely.
