The Australian Koala is a sought-after coin series featuring annual designs of the much-loved marsupial. Sleepy and docile, koalas spend most of their time either resting or eating gum leaves among Australia’s eucalyptus forests.

The coin portrays a charming koala clinging to a tree trunk amongst eucalyptus foliage. Included on the reverse are the inscriptions ‘KOALA’ and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark, as well as the coin’s weight, purity and 2025 year-date. The coin has been struck with an extra-deep blank to showcase its superbly detailed design in high relief.

Accompanied by a numbered certificate of authenticity, the coin is housed in a classic display case with a black timber lid and stylish shipper.
