In the underwater city of Bikini Bottom, SpongeBob SquarePants is the fry cook at fast food restaurant, The Krusty Krab. Responsible for preparing its popular Krabby Patty, SpongeBob’s life revolves around a wacky ensemble of marine characters – customers, co-workers, friends and rivals – with whom he shares many madcap adventures.

Patrick, a pink starfish, is SpongeBob’s walking paradox and best friend. His usual dim-witted demeanour is unpredictably punctuated by moments of unexpected brilliance, adding an extra layer of hilarity to their shared adventures. The underwater world isn’t complete without Patrick’s charming naivety and SpongeBob’s relentless optimism.

DESIGN

The coin portrays a cheerful portrait of Patrick Star. The image along with the coin’s rim are gilded in stunning 22-carat pink gold. The background showcases illustrations of star fish with an array of playful motifs. Included in the design is the official ‘SpongeBob SquarePants’ logo.

Accompanied by a numbered certificate of authenticity, the coin is housed in a pink patterned box and a presentation case that represents Patrick’s house in Bikini Bottom.
